Ana Santisteban was born in Cuenca in 1990, and developed a concert activity in different parts around the world. She began her musical studies at the Professional Conservatory "Pedro Aranaz" from her hometown under the tutelage of José Mota.
Later, she was accepted at the Music Conservatory of Murcia with instructors and great concertists, Pablo Barón and Carmen María Ros, finalizing unanimously with the Medal of Honor.
In 2013, Ana relocated to the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels where she studied a masters degree with the charismatic guitarist, Antigoni Goni, and achieved the diploma with the mention of Cum Laude, and two years later she accomplished a second masters degree at the Conservatorium of Maastricht with the prestigious Carlo Marchione.
She has performed as a soloist in numerous occasions going through Asia, Europe and America. Ana debuted with the Youth Orchestra of Cuenca, and later with Silpakorn University Orchestra, Chulalongkorn University Orchestra of Thailand, Camerata Capricho Español of Spain, and Pittburgs Youth Simphony Orchestra of United States among others. She has also participated as a soloist at Festival Orchestra Giovanili (Italy), and International Harrogate Musical Festival (England).
Ana has featured in prestigious International Guitar Festivals such as “Volterra Project Institute” of Italy, “Festival International Guitaree in Cevennes” of France, and “Abundio Martinez” in Mexico. In 2014, she was awarded a scholarship by the International Music Course in Compostela, and in 2015 by Bureau International Jeunesse de Bruxelles. Ana Santisteban was also awarded “Andrés Segovia” and the third prize at the International Competition "Ángel Piñero”.
